This section of the event in conformity with the sustainability goal is tagged “Green Threads”. It is solely for annexing and to groom young and talented fashion designers, craftsmen and artisans, etc. within the students’ community. This is aimed at getting the next generation to be actively in tone with the fashion industry. This is an avenue to groom young designers and talents from the student community to give them exposure, visibility and networking opportunities ,skill development, sustainability awareness and building a portfolio for them.
FASHION AND ART INSTALLATION
Fashion Installation is an artistic and experiential expression within the realm of fashion design, characterized by the spatial arrangement of fashion and art items,It typically involves the creation of immersive environments or experiences that showcase clothing or fashion concepts in innovative and often conceptual ways. This will be displayed in a museum pattern / exhibition gallery style .
DESIGNERS CONNECT
Designers connect is a town-hall meeting for local designers to connect, and discuss business trends, regulations and the place of the Niger Delta Region in the global fashion scene.
The event doubles as a capacity-building and learning event for local designers to meet international standards through facilitated master classes from renowned fashion designers, stylists and marketers.
